The Rivers state central mosque,No 208, Niger Street, Portharcourt main town, intends to raise N300,000,000.00 (three hundred million naira) for the reconstruction of Rivers state Central (Jumu’ah) Masjid.
The existing Masjid which is structurally defective and less accommodating will be reconstructed to accommodate 1200 - 1500 worshipers. Please Muslim Ummah,be among the 600,000 people targeted to be mobilised to donate N500 (five hundred naira) each, into the following account for the building project:

Also,be reminded that,Ibn Maajah (738), narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that, the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.
