The Kingdom is ready with all necessary
arrangements to serve the Haj pilgrims this year, but any
behavior by the pilgrims against the Shariah or the country’s
laws that hampers the Haj rituals will be dealt with firmly,
an official has said.
“The country is honored by the presence of the Two Holy
Mosques and Saudi Arabia is following the path established
during the reign of its founder, King Abdul Aziz bin
Abdulrahman bin Faisal,” Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sanad,
chief of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and
Prevention of Vice (Haia) was quoted as saying by local
media on Sunday.
Al-Sanad confirmed that all the apparatuses and its
establishments are ready to serve the pilgrims, but those
found violating the rules and regulations will be dealt with
strictly as confirmed during the Council of Ministers’
meeting, which was attended by Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Salman, his deputy Prince Mohammad bin
Naif and chairman of the Haj Committee.
Al-Sanad said the vision of Haia reflects in its services to
the guests of God and that the body puts in all efforts in
providing field work and educational programs according to
the teachings of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
