Hypocrisy and Its Various Manifestations The True Path

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. Today’s admonition will be on the highlight of the hypocrisy and its type.

Hypocrisy can be defined as a situation in which someone pretends to believe something that they do not really believe, or that is the opposite of what they do or say at another time.
Allah says: “When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammed), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely.

They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they want to do.

That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not.

And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted!" (Q63:1-4)

Hypocrisy is of two types, namely:

A)    Hypocrisy in Belief.
B)    Hypocrisy in deeds and actions.

(A) Hypocrisy in Belief

There are six aspects of hypocrisy in Believe:
1.     To disprove the Prophet Muhammed (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam)
2.     To refute some of all that was brought by the Prophet Muhammed (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam) (e.g. the Quran, the Sunnah, Laws and principles of Islam)
3.     To hate Prophet Muhammed (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam)
4.     To hate some of that which was brought by Prophet Muhammed (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam) (e.g. Islamic Monotheism, etc)
5.     To feel happy at the disgrace of or the setback for the religion of Allah’s Messenger  (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam)
6.     To dislike that the religion of Allah’s Messenger (Islamic Monotheism) becomes victorious. (i.e. not being pleased at the victory of Islam)
A person having these six types (of hypocrisy) will be in the lowest depths (grade) of the hell fire. Allah says in Quran 4 verse 145 “Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depth of the fire; no helper will you find for them.”

(B) Hypocrisy in deeds and actions

There are five aspects of Hypocrisy in deeds and actions, and their proof is from the statement of Allah’s Messenger (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam). The signs of hypocrite are these:
1.     Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
2.     Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (i.e. his promise).
3.     If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest (if you keep something as trust with him, he will not return it).
4.     And in another narration of the Prophet (Sola-LLAHU alaehi wasallam): whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil, insulting manner.
5.     Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves himself treacherous (deceitful).

Let all desist from it, so that we will be among those that will be granted Paradise.

As you set out today, remember to be mindful of your deeds and actions.

Allah says: “Verily, this is an admonition: therefore whosoever will, let him take a path to his LORD” (Q73:19)

If you share this, you have saved a Soul.

Salaamu alaekum!!!

Yours in Islam,
Solih bun Imam Yunus Kehinde
(AbuAsiyat)
