2,815 convert to Islam in Dubai in 2014 The True Path

DUBAI // A total of 2,815 people converted to Islam last year in the emirate, the New Muslims Section in Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has revealed.

There were 2,047 female and 768 male converts of 91 different nationalities, the figures show.

IACAD offers resources and projects especially designed for those wishing to convert to Islam.

“The department does its best to fulfil its mission, enhancing religious awareness and developing charitable work in society,” said Dr Omar Al Khateeb, chief executive of the Islamic Affairs section of IACAD.
