The Astronomical New Moon (conjunction) is on September 20, 2017 (Wednesday) at 5:30 UT. On September 20, the crescent may not be visible anywhere in the habited world. It may be seen with binoculars in Southern belt of North America, all Central America, and Northern parts of South America. On September 21, it will be easily visible almost everywhere in the world.
